Night presence

Our nighttime presence and monitoring service ensures the safety of people with reduced autonomy during the night. At Amika, our caregivers are available to prevent the risk of falls, wandering, and nighttime restlessness. They also provide necessary incontinence care, such as toileting and changing pads, to ensure the comfort and hygiene of the person receiving care.

Nighttime care is primarily intended for seniors with permanent or temporary physical limitations, such as those returning from hospital. It provides valuable respite for caregivers, allowing them to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep with complete peace of mind.

Our specialized nighttime caregivers are trained and experienced in caring for people with reduced autonomy. They provide attentive support and respond quickly to the needs of the person receiving care.

Night presence is planned for a minimum duration of 6 to 8 hours, depending on available resources and the geographical area. This service is generally integrated into a broader support at home, including assistance with personal hygiene , assistance with dressing , reminders to take medication , assistance with exercising and remaining active, or assistance with getting up and going to bed . Amika can also offer a 24/7 continuous presence and monitoring service , in the event that the person being helped cannot remain alone.

The price of our services varies depending on the length of the visit and geographic location. Financial assistance may be available for our services.
